I've witnessed a lot of would-be victories turn into defeat simply because people get comfortable and ease up too early; they get comfortable and complacency sets in.

We have to remember that it is important to persevere and drive harder to complete the mission no matter how uncomfortable it gets. Some battles have to be fought multiple times before the war is won. Do not let yourself be deceived into complacency.

Taking a closer look at Perseverance: 1) Steady persistence in adhering to a course of action, a belief, or a purpose; steadfastness. 2) The act or habit of persevering; persistence in anything undertaken; continued pursuit or prosecution of any business or enterprise begun; steady persistency in any state or course of action: applied alike to good and evil.

I love this quote by Trent Reznor, ”I really try to put myself in uncomfortable situations. Complacency is my enemy.” It challenges me to stay focused on adhering to the course of action I have committed to, good or bad. Complacency is NOT an option!

Let me know, What do you do to face complacency in your life? -

Be The Buffalo, Face The Storm; don't stop until mission complete!

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
